i think you're crazy,
ZELDA MIRIELLE WALSH !
ZELDA MIRIELLE WALSH !

hello! introduce yourself, you awesome person !
name , Woah! Totally didn’t see you there! I’m Zelda Mirielle Walsh! I know, right? What a horrible name. I have no idea what my mum was thinking when she named me… I’ve always wondered if she was on something when she did. I mean, Zelda’s not half bad, but Mirielle?! Only old ladies are named Mirielle. Why not something cool like Mavis?
gender , You’re lucky I’m not easily offended… but I’m obviously a girl.[/s]
age , I’m twenty two! … and thirteen months.
job , I teach divination at Hogwarts! I cleared out most of the perfume with a few spells, added a few more cushions, painted the walls a dark purple and added a bunch of glittery stars to the ceiling! It looks quite amazing now, if I do say so myself.
blood , I’m a halfblood, not that it really matters. I mean, what is with all that prejudice! I make it a rule in my class that any group projects they do have to be with someone from another house, and that they have to sit with whoever I say for one class a week. Some of them don’t really like it… but I think it’s a brilliant idea!
wand , Apple wood with a veela hair core, (from one of my mother’s best friends grandmothers), and it’s exactly eleven and a half inches.
playby , People say I look a lot like a muggle actress named Zoey Deschanel… I don’t really see the resemblance, but whatever.
tell me all about your pesky behaviour !
personality , Why’re you so interested in me…? Weird… but whatever! This whole shebang is freaking fun! My personality? Glad you asked! I’ve decided to compile a list of traits my friends say I have; I don’t really agree with all of them, but I guess they know more about how I act than I do!
Blunt/Honest: Zelda is extraordinarily honest. She never seems to have any trouble voicing what she thinks, and quite frankly, doesn’t seem to care what other people think of her because of her honesty. A fairly good trait, but I expect it’s gotten her in trouble before.
Crazy/Creative: These two words perfectly describe Zelda! She’s such a quirky little thing that comes up with a million different ideas in a matter of seconds. I remember once in our third year she set up a bunch of paint filled balloons in one of the hallways and we shot darts at them! Merlin, we got in so much trouble… but it was definitely worth it.
Passionate: I’ve only known her for a few months, but from what I can tell she’s incredibly passionate and puts her heart and soul into everything she does; whether it’s making eggs in the morning or planning out a project for one of her classes.
Food Lover: Merlin, can this girl ever eat. She’s been coming to my hot dog stand for a few years now, and she always eats enough for three. I know her order off by heart; two hot dogs with mustard and ketchup, three soft pretzels with extra mustard and a large ice tea.
Childish: When I first met this young lady, I immediately thought of a sunny, cheerful woman who hadn’t quite finished putting ‘childish things’ away. I am quite sure this is the reason we only dated for two months; I just could not handle all the yelling and painting!
likes , What’s with all the questions? Oooh! Are you from the FBI?! No…? Oh. Well, that’s a bit disappointing. It would’ve been so cool if you were! Oh, right, sorry! I’m getting distracted again.
First off, I really like being different, or weird. I’ve always been a bit abnormal and loud, and people always made fun of me in school. Not that I minded; I’m fairly good at ignoring people when I want to. I’m also pretty fond of snow. It’s just so fluffy and pretty! Hmm… oh! I know! I love the smell of a fresh summer breeze! Nothing beats it. Aside from maybe those soft pretzel things with mustard. Those are pretty good too… Glitter and bright colors are also two things I’m very fond of. I love painting as well. All the walls in my flat are covered in small paintings; it’s a bit of a stress reliever. How many more do I need? Four? Man, you sure are thorough Mr. Invisible Man! Hmmm… oh, I know! CATS! I absolutely adore them! I have four at home! Equal rights is another big one, I hate being treated as if I’m not as good as someone else because of gender, race or age. Let’s go with my two favorite scents as the last two! Carnations and honey.
dislikes , My dislikes now? It’s like being on one of those TV interviews! I just love it! Alright , so to start off I really don’t like doctor’s offices. No idea why, they just creep me out. I’m also not a big fan of makeup. Don’t get me wrong, I still wear it, I just don’t cake it onto my face. Eggs are another thing I can’t stand; they just taste so… bland and rubbery! Oh, and I’m definitely not a dog person, particularly those small little rat things. Hmm… six more, huh? Oh, alright! Well I really hate wearing socks to bed, it feels so weird and my feet get all sweaty, it’s just… yuck! I’m also not very fond of getting drunk. I become very… affectionate, which has led to some interesting nights that I would have rather avoided. Cleaning is another big one. I procrastinate so much it isn’t even funny. I was supposed to clean my flat… four months ago, clean out the fridge two months ago… you see where this is going, right? I don’t really like negativity either. There’s just so much to be happy about, so why bother bringing yourself down! Oh! I also detest maths. I took them for a couple years at a muggle school; let me tell you, they were not fun. Last one! Alright, I really hate the smell of mud.
patronuses , Well… people have told me I’m a rather good liar, which I’d call a strength. I’m also pretty good at divination and charms.
dementors , Ya know… I don’t usually go around telling people these. What of some secret spy organization got a hold of them and decided to come and kill me! Or that I had valuable information and needed to be kidnapped! Oh… you aren’t going to tell anyone? That’s sad… I think being kidnapped would be pretty cool! Anyways, I’m pretty stubborn and have a really bad temper when provoked. Chocolate is my all-time weakness, though! No, really. If you own some sort of chocolate store or your parents do, I’ll be in your bed… literally.
mirror of eriseds , My wishes? Hmm… well I’d really love to start a family. I’ve always loved kids, and it just sounds like such a fun thing to do! I’d also really love to buy a pygmy puff! They’re just so cute! I mean, who wouldn’t want one?! One more? Alright, I’d really love to travel around France on a bike! I think it would be super fun!
boggarts , Huh… I’ve never really thought deeply about this, but I guess I’m afraid of losing my family, rats and dementors. My family’s really important to me, and losing them would be absolutely horrible! Rats… well they’re just self-explanatory. And dementors are just… bleh. They make me feel so gross and sad! Being sad isn’t fun.
flaws , Flaws? Pfft, I don’t have flaws! You still think I do? Fine… here they are. I tend to twirl my hair around my finger when I’m anxious or nervous. I’ve been told before that it’s incredibly irritating. I’m also pretty absent minded and klutzy.
what about the story of your spiffy life ?
history , My history! Oooh, this is one of my favorite parts! You get to hear all about me when I was a kid! I actually owled my different family members to get them to describe my years as a kid! Then I’ll take over and explain my Hogwarts years.
Dad said ”Zelda was a… interesting baby. She hardly cried, (unlike her sister), and was always gurgling and waving her fat little fists in the air; it was rather cute. I remember Amelie was extraordinarily pleased that she started showing magical tendencies early on. Why, when she was only two years old she was able to make her favorite stuffed animal come to her at will!
Her toddler years were much the same, full of giggling and toddling around the house demanding food or terrorizing the cats. God… I remember one time she managed to get a hold of Amelie’s wand and accidentally turned her sisters hair bright purple.
When her letter came, she was extremely excited, but also a bit afraid. Her sister had already been sorted into Slytherin, and poor little Zelda was afraid she wouldn’t be. However, she was rather happy being placed in Ravenclaw. Her first letter home was full of exclamation marks and a million different descriptive words for their common room.”
Mum said ”She was a lovely child; always very happy and easy to please. We were expecting a boy, as our medi-witch had continuously told us that was what we were having. I was quite thrilled to have a second daughter, and although Erik acted a bit disappointed, Zelda has managed to wrap him around her little finger.
I would have liked her to go to Beaubatons, as I did when I was a child, and for a while I had her convinced it was where she would go. But as soon as she saw the uniform, she decided not to. Zelda is a bit of a, how do you say, tom boy, and the silk dresses did not appeal to her nature.
I believe she was very happy with her decision, and I do not regret letting her decide. We are still fairly close, and I send her monthly care packages with her favorite sweets and baked goods.”
My sister said ”Litte brat turned my hair purple when she was three. I remember mum and dad both telling me to calm down, and that I’d soon look back on it and laugh. I still do not like the color purple.
I was only there for a few years of her childhood, as I went to school when she was ten, but from what I can remember she was a rather easygoing child. When she changed her mind and decided to go to Hogwarts instead of Beaubatons I remember I freaked out. She wanted to be sorted into Slytherin, and I mean, who wants their baby sister trailing around with them?! I certainly didn’t. But it was all fine because she was sorted into Ravenclaw.”
My brother said ”I don’t really know what she was like as a kid, since I’m six years younger… but when I was in my first year and she was in her seventh she was always incredibly nice! Showing me around and all that jazz.
We were in separate houses, but that didn’t stop her from sitting with me at breakfast or helping me study for any of my exams. And now I get to see her almost every day! I’m not a very big fan of Divination, but since Zeld teaches it I decided to continue taking the class. It’s kinda weird; Mum has Seer blood on her side, but Zeld is the only one of us that seemed to have inherited it. I’m complete rubbish, and although my oldest sister won’t admit it, she really didn’t have any idea what she was doing in that class.”
Hello again! So that was what my family had to say, and I can’t help but agree with them. However, my life was relatively normal up until my fourth year when the Seer stuff started to happen. I’d get flashes where I’d completely black out and just talk random gibberish about what was going to happen to people in the school. It was weird, but kinda cool.
That’s actually how I got my first boyfriend. He was into divination, and when I went into one of my ‘fits’ in front of him, he helped carry me to the hospital wing and sat with me until I woke up. We dated for two years, but broke it off. I can’t really remember why… but we’re still really good friends!
I’m not a teacher at Hogwarts, and loving every minute of it!
mother , My mum is Amelie Seraphine Walsh, she’s fifty six and used to work for the French ministry. Once she had kids she quit her job to become a housewife. As you can probably tell, she is French. When I was younger she tried to teach me how to speak her language… that didn’t work out so well. But my older sister can!
father , My dad is Erik Brenton Walsh, he’s fifty eight, and a muggle. He’s actually the editor of a really big muggle newspaper! We’re pretty close, (much closer than I am with my mum), and I still tell him everything.
siblings , ---- ---- Walsh is my brother, who’s in his seventh year at Hogwarts. I was sorted into Ravenclaw, and he’s a Hufflepuff, so we aren’t as close as I’d like, but we still talk!
---- ---- Walsh is my older sister. She’s twenty five and lives in muggle London as a fashion design. We don’t talk much anymore, and she was a Slytherin, but we’re still closeish.
spouse , Ahahaaa, I wish!
children , My imaginary ones, or real ones…? Real ones? Then nope, can’t say I have any of those.
others , I have four cats, Alana, (three year old calico), Mozart (a ten year old grey cat), Thierry, (a two year old brown with white splotches cat), and Samson, (a six year old grey and white tom). Oh! And there’s also my owl, Bamboozle! He’s pretty hyperactive, so I usually just let him fly around my flat. When I’m at Hogwarts he hangs out in the rafters of my classroom.
aside from this epic fantasy, who are you ?
